About us The Junior Church caters for children & young people from the age of 2½ to 18 years. We meet every Sunday morning from 10.30 to 11.30. The group is split into three sections, children aged 2½ to 6 years, 7 to 11 years & young people aged 11 + years. The Junior Church is staffed by teachers with several years of experience teaching children and young people and the group uses the Roots teaching material, which follows the lectionary, used in the main service. Members of the Junior Church regularly take part in worship in the form of singing, reading, drama & craft activities, the Senior section occasionally prepare and deliver the complete service. There is also a thriving music group, which provides the music for the monthly All age worship services. We are also present in church for baptisms and family communion services. Junior Church is also involved in the decoration of the church for special services, like Harvest, Christmas and Mothering Sunday. The flower workshop on Saturday 10th December was attended by 18 members.
We produced a range of flower arrangements to decorate the church for the Christmas period.
