Welcome to Chilwell Road Methodist Junior Church. Catering for children and young people from the age of 2½ to 18 years we break into the following groups:
Primary and Beginners: children aged 2½ to 6 years. We meet every Sunday morning from 10.30 to 11.30. Read More

Seniors: young people aged 11 + years. We meet every Sunday morning from 10.30 to 11.30. Read More
Until Summer where we all join up together and have joint activities such as games, going to the park, making cakes to sell for charity, treasure hunts, box modelling, and themed sessions such as music or craft. This year our Summer program starts on the 3rd of July going all the way through the holidays to the end of August, click here to veiw the plan.
We are staffed by volunteers, with many years of experience working with children and young people, all of whom have had enhanced CRB checks. We use the Roots teaching material.
From time to time members of the Junior Church take part in Sunday church worship in the form of singing, reading, drama, and music.
We have a thriving Music group, providing accompaniment in All Age Worship services, on the last Sunday of each month. The group is made up of mainly the young people from Junior Church, and is open to any one who wishes to join in.
We are also present in church for baptisms and family communion services.
Occasionally the Senior section prepare and present a service of worship on their own.
Junior Church also help in the decoration of the church, with flower workshops, for special services, like Harvest, Christmas and Mothering Sunday.
