By car
Chilwell Road Methodist Church is on the B6464 that runs through Beeston, next but one to the old Police Station. This can be reached from Queen’s Road (A6005), Wollaton Road (B6006) or from Woodside Road (A6464) via Broadgate and following signs through Beeston for Chilwell. There is limited car parking on the church premises, and parking is also available on local streets.

By bus
There is a bus stop directly in front of the church, although while the tram works are in place, no buses serve it. Many buses serve the Beeston Bus Station, which is a 5 minute walk from the church. These include the NCT routes 13, 13X, 14 and 36 and Trent Barton’s Indigo and Route 18 buses. During the day the 36 and Indigo services operate at least every 10 minutes.

By train
The nearest train station is Beeston (see latest train times) situated just off Queen’s Road, approximately a 15 minute walk from the church. There are regular services to Nottingham, Lincoln, Derby and Birmingham as well as other stations.

By tram
The NET Phase 2 tram service from Nottingham to Toton will pass our door by the end of 2014. Building work is ongoing. more
