Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to stay with my child/children? No. We have a team of leaders experienced in looking after children and leading activities. During registration we will take contact details so should there be an emergency or any problem we can contact you.
How much does it cost? It is completely free. The church willingly puts on the Holiday Club as part of its work in the community. If you really really want to give us some money, you could offer it to this year’s Church Charity of Water Aid.
I/my child(ren) can only come for 1 day/some days. Can they still come? Yes, they can come. There is a theme throughout the week and a developing storyline, but we will explain what has happened previously. Any of the days will work on their own, although for the best experience we recommend coming to as many of the days as possible.
Can my 4 year old child come? Maybe. We are happy to accept any children that are in reception to year 6. Some 4 year olds are in reception, but some are not. It is easier to say ages 5 to 11, but we are happy to have any 4 year olds that have started school.
Do I need to wear or bring anything? We provide all of the equipment for holiday club. You can come as you are, or if you have any secret agent kit, you may like to wear it!
Do I need to book ahead? No, but it’s helpful if you do to give us an idea of numbers. If we find on the day that we are exceptionally busy, we may have to people turn away. Anyone that has booked is guaranteed a place. To book, get in contact with Sarah or the church office.
Can I fill out the registration form ahead of time? Yes, you can! You don’t need to though. Sarah can email you a copy, or if you arrange ahead can get one to you. You can then either get it straight back to Sarah or bring it on the Holiday Club morning. This will save time on the day.
