Today, in the Langar Hall country hotel not far from here, Labour leader Ed Miliband has married his long-term partner Justine Thornton in a private ceremony.
Instead of buying presents, they suggested guests give donations to children’s charity Barnardo’s and to Methodist Homes for the Aged. [BBC News report]
